Looking for an orthopedic surgeon who wants to work in Northern Vermont. This is an employed position with a salary up to 400,000. There is 1 other ortho in town but call is 1:4. They are offering a full and generous benefit package as well. The facility has been recently renovated and is staffed by well trained clinical and administrative personnel. The operating room has been renovated with a fantastic new operating suite and is staffed by three highly qualified anesthesiologists. There have recently been major investments in developing a high quality Orthopaedic program. The emergency services department is staffed around the clock by physicians and nurse practitioners. The medical staff, 33 in number, is comprised of board-certified internists, family practitioners, pediatricians, two general surgeons, a urologist, a psychiatrist, two general surgeons, an ophthalmologist, an ENT surgeon, oncologist and a neurologist. “Visiting physicians” from two area medical centers provider regular services in the area of cardiology and dermatology. The community offers a broad range of real-estate opportunities in an area of rolling hills, active farms, and dense woodland. There are excellent facilities for primary and secondary public education. A number of fine and casual restaurants are available in town or by short drive.
