Looking for an orthopedic surgeon who wants to work in SW Register or log in for contact information is an exciting opportunity to build an orthopedic practice in an area that offers a great quality of life. Be fairly reimbursed for your practice and have an excellent balance between work and the rest of life. You will find an excellent reimbursement mix made up largely of Blue Cross, Commercial and Medicare. You can practice in only one hospital with virtually no trauma; strong referral system with a defined need. There is currently one orthopedist practicing in Wytheville who is very busy. He is not interested in partnership but is supportive of hospital's recruitment efforts and open to a cross-coverage arrangement. Expect no more than ten days of ER call coverage per month. Candidates must have completed a residency program (or be in the last year of residency) and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. No J-1 VISA positions available. To assist you with establishing a successful practice, the hospital will offer: income guarantee for a specified period of time; practice management consulting services; sign-on bonus; relocation; marketing; stipend for last year residents, student loan repayment.
