Job Description

Looking for an orthopedic surgeon who wants to practice in beautiful SW Virginia. They have 2 orthos currently and want to add another. The service area is estimated at 100,000+/- because they serve Southwest Virginia and Southeastern Kentucky. There aren’t many orthos in the area so there is a great need. The hospital can do a contract for either employed or income guarantee. The two Orthos that they have are both employed and we would estimate that they will retire in the next 3-5 years. They do need a Gen. Ortho however they have an inpt. rehab unit so the ortho’s sometimes do total joints and knee replacements and such and the rehab dept. is ranked as a top 10% performer across the country for inpt. rehab departments. Sports medicine is always a plus here and one of their past ortho docs was the team physician for the UVA-Wise football program.
