Ortho opportunity in southern Wisconsin. This position is a general orthopedics position however certainly part of that practice will be sports medicine. They have a family practitioner who is board certified in sports med and we have 4 licensed athletic trainers who provide services to 6 area high schools so a general Orthopedist with an interest in sports med would be ideal. Dependent on experience the salary could be in the $400 000+ range. As an employee all malpractice is covered. And lastly there are options for employment solo with startup assistance or potentially joining a group from outside the community. The Orthopedic Surgeon position would be a solo opportunity but they have set it up so that this individual will share call with the other independent Ortho in town. So call would be 1:2. This individual would need to be board eligible or board certified because we have it stated in our contracts that if they are not board certified they need to become board certified within two years.
