Total Joints/ Hand/Gen'l Orthopod(s)! Very Light CALL!

Job Description

-Call is 1/8 it is reasonably light, as this is not a trauma center
-seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Total Joint Surgery.
-A fellowship trained Hand Surgeon would also be considered.
-It is expected that the person accepting this position would obtain and/or maintain their board certification throughout their employment.
-The orthopedic group is presently comprised of four existing Orthopedic Surgeons.
-Currently have surgeons with fellowship training in spine and sports medicine, as well as two general orthopedic surgeons. The two general orthopedic surgeons are presently slowing down as they are nearing retirement.
-There are no fellowship trained total joint or hand specialists within the local market. This will provide an opportunity to develop a very busy elective practice.
-The Doc will have ample opportunity to spend time with family and pursue interests outside of medicine.
-Wisconsin also has a very favorable malpractice climate, including caps on non-economic damages
