Job Description
We are assisting a recently designated critical access hospital in the recruitment of an ENT due to a recent retirement. Hospital currently employs 36 physicians out of the 43 on staff. ENT had been in the community for 35 years and recently retired. Need is for a general ENT for Peds, head and neck surgery for their new cancer center, plastics, sinus, and other general patient care. Hospital has 2 OR’s, Anesthesiologists, and CRNA’s.
Facility was originally designed for 135 beds, and is very modern with permanent MRI, CT, Sleep lab, newer women’s center, and many other services. Beautiful mountainous rural community of 3,000 has a population draw of 45,000, with virtually no competition in the area. Area is located 2 ½ hours south of Buffalo and Rochester, NY. Hospital will offer a competitive starting salary, RVU incentive plan, potential student loan repayment, and full benefits including occurrence malpractice. There is no official call requirement for this opportunity, except for the occasional consult call.
