Seeking a Plastic Surgeon in Southern Pennsylvania with Academic Opportunities! - Seeking a Plastic Surgeon to join an existing practice in southern Pennsylvania due to retirement. - The scope of the practice is 20% cosmetic, 10% hand, and the rest reconstructive surgery. The physicians describe a "great array of board cases" with a full spectrum of cases. - The physicians participate in teaching residents/ fellows. Academic appointments are available for qualified candidates. - The current physicians describe an excellent quality of life - their practice offers a very nice balance between work and home. - Hospital is a 529-bed Level 2 Trauma Center and treats everything but severe burns. The physicians provide trauma call coverage of 1:4. - Health system was rated a "Top 100 Health System" for the past two years. - Employed position includes a salary of $300k for a new graduate and full benefits. - The benefit package includes health, dental, vision, long and short term disability, retirement savings plan, 4 weeks scheduled time off, 1 week CME and $2500 stipend, and relocation expenses. - Easy access to Baltimore and Washington, D.C - This town offers good schools, including a parochial school, a low crime rate, and a reasonable cost of living. - This community is quickly growing as a bedroom community for the Washington/Baltimore complex with over 60% of new housing for Maryland residents moving to and commuting to the area.
