WJ162840C - Birmingham, Alabama is seeking 2 BE/BC Psychiatrists to join a large Psychiatric group with 4 practice locations, 14 Psychiatrists and 40+ Psychologists. They average 130-150 new patients per week and cover 4 hospitals in Birmingham. The candidate will do 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient. Call coverage is 1:14 for outpatients and 1:4 for inpatient call at the Medical Center. The Medical Center generally has approximately 35-40 inpatients at any given time. Weekend call consists of Friday night call, Saturday morning hospital rounds which take approximately 6 hours, and Saturday night and Sunday call. These Psychiatrists treat both adults and children.
