Psychiatrist Needed in Northern Arkansas

A facility in Northern Arkansas needs a psychiatrist, until they find a perm. This is a locums or perm opportunity. It is 100% adult inpatient,treating geriatric patients. There is one other psychiatrist on staff. There is night and weekend call and weekend rounds.
The admits and discharges on a daily basis can vary. The monthly average, this year (Jan. – Aug. ’09) is 31 admits and 31 discharges. The H & P ‘s are covered by the Medical team which must be completed with 24hours of the admission. The Psych-eval, completed by the Psychiatrist must be completed with in 60 hours of the admission.
