Job Description
Client is looking to bring on two Psychiatrists reporting to the Director of Primary Care. The Psychiatrist will have responsibilities for treating veterans in a mental health clinic, approximately 90% of their duty time and treating veterans on an in-patient mental health locked ward the remainder of their duty time. The provider is assisted by a multidisciplinary team, providing longitudinal management in a patient-centered environment. Stable clinic schedule.
Proficiency in written/spoken English. Be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry shortly after appointment, possess and maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory or commonwealth of the U.S., pass a pre-employment medical examination and must remain up-do-date with the latest medical treatments and procedures via CME.
Client is located in central Minnesota on 200 acres of wooded grounds on the banks of the Sauk River. Associated with two community based outpatient clinics. Each year the medical center delivers care to over 25,000 unique patients in the Upper Midwest Region. The medical center is experiencing dynamic growth and expansion of facilities and services.
388 Operating Beds; 15 Psychiatry; 225 Long-term care; 123 Domiciliary; 25 PRRTP
The facility provides primary medical and mental health services, primary medicine, acute psychiatry, and an array of outpatient specialties including urology, outpatient surgery, audiology, optometry, dental and podiatry.
Base salary is depending on experience; pay for performance bonus; malpractice paid for; 10 Holidays with additional 26 days PTO; health insurance coverage for self and family, portable when retirement eligible! Tuition support for CME.
