Job Description

Psychiatrist wanted for a busy mental health department. Department consists of 1 Psychiatrist and 3 Psychologists.

This is a general Psychiatrist position. Incumbent currently sees about 30% inpatient and 70% outpatient. Incumbent sees children age 7 and above. There is also a 136 bed long term care center so some geriatric Psychiatry is required. Call is shared among the group and is 1:4.

Hospital is acute and outpatient medical center with all private rooms, state-of-the-art technology, a newly remodeled Medical/Surgical floor and a 24-hour laboratory. Level III trauma center.

Psychiatrist will interact with the medical staff for consultations and liaison.
Physician will be an employee of the hospital with a guaranteed salary. 40 hr week. Defined benefit pension plan and a 403(b) Sick/vacation/CME, Malpractice paid by the hospital, Health/Dental,
Life/Disability Insurance, Paid moving expenses,
Loan Repayment.
