Psychiatry Jobs in New Hampshire
We have two psychiatry jobs in New Hampshire; one working with adults and the other would be working with children, as well as, adolescents.

The psychiatrist selected for the first job would need to be comfortable treating adults in an inpatient setting. The facility has a 15 bed unit. Recently the unit has been running to capacity. The doctor would have half the patients at any given time and would also have to do inpatient consultations as requested. The average length of stay is about 4 to 5 days but often is shorter than that. There can be as few as none or as many as 5 or 6 admissions per day with a commensurate number of discharges.

The psychiatrist selected for the second opportunity should be comfortable treating 50% children and 50% adolescents in an outpatient setting. No call is required for this position. This psychiatrist will be working directly with a nurse practitioner. The psychiatrist selected will have 30 minutes for re-checks and 60-90 minutes for initial evaluations. The doctor selected will see approximately 13 patients per day, and will have the choice to dictate or write their notes.

The facility is relatively close to Boston. It is a small, safe, family oriented city with easy access to access to mountains, lakes, seacoast and Boston.
