Job Description
Position: Full time staff Geriatric Psychiatrist (employed). Candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatrics or have a strong interest in Geriatrics. Candidate must have geriatric experience. Responsibilities include: 10 bed unit coverage, outpatient office hours at hospital and residential facilities in the community and an occasional in-house patient consult. ECT a plus.
Type of Practice: Hospital Department: Geriatric Psychiatry Unit.

Call Schedule: 1:3 weekdays and 1:4 weekends (very light call).
Located just 20 minutes from the coast, Boston is just over an hour away, and it is a short drive to lakes and mountains. Population of the city is 30K and the service area is 75,000 - 100,000. No personal income tax and no sales tax in State of NH. Private, semiprivate and public elementary and secondary schools are options. Colleges and Universities close; entertainment and arts options include: Opera House, Academy of Performing Arts, Theater, University culture, Music Hall, Jazz Festival, and Center of the Arts. Recreation options in summer: swimming, boating, fishing, hunting etc. Winter recreation includes: cross country skiing, down hill skiing, snowmobiling.
