Permanent Psychiatrist Needed in Western New York, Historical Town & Museum

This facility is located in western New York and has an immediate need for a permanent psychiatrist to treat a mixture of approximately 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient, with the possibility of becoming 100% inpatient. The inpatient unit is an adult acute admissions unit. The doctor must be comfortable treating mentally retarded patients, as well as patients with regular psychiatric issues. Notes can be either handwritten or dictated. They will need on call coverage on their IP unit 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. Salary is commensurate with experience and is generally $150,00 to $170,000 + benefits.

This historical town has all of the amenities of a larger city, but with a small town atmosphere. The fall weather here is beautiful, and during the winter there is top class skiing near by.
