Job Description
Fourteen Radiologists( 3 IR and 11 Diagnostic Radiologists), looking to hire an Interventional Radiologist, volume per Radiologist is 14k, 12 weeks vacation, one year to partnership, small buy-in, Malpractice is paid, 401k plan, work out of Medical Center. About $380k partnership pay.
IR person would do about 75-80% IR, 20% body imaging.
We utilize the services of a nighthawk sercie from 10 pm-7 am seven days a week. Call on Saturdays is 7am until 9 or 10 pm, at which point nightHawk services begin, covering until 7 am.
All diagnostic imaging radiologists work a four-day work week with the day off being post-call. Even on a week when you are not assigned call, you still only work a four-day work week. Call for Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are evenly distributed amongst the radiologists. We take 8 weeks of vacation per year; CME is part of that vacation time. The12 weeks of vacation begins year one and is the same for all radiologists.
In addition to Medical Center, we jointly own, with an outpatient imaging center. It is a very nicely designed, outpatient imaging center with a 1.5 Tesla MRI, 16-slice CT, two US rooms, digital mammography, bone densitometry, xray, and fluoro. The center is on the same PACS as the hospital. Thus, we can continue to provide our subspecialized services at the center, regardless of the radiologist working on site. For example, if a neuroradiologist is assigned to PMI, the musculoskeletal images are read by the musculoskeletal radiologist working at the hospital. As well, if the clinic is not busy, the radiologist working there can help with the hospital studies.
We also have an outpatient interventional center that we solely own, Endovascular/Interventional Center which is across the street from the hospital. We perform most all types of interventional services there and have recently begun offering Botox and Restylene therapies.
