Job Description

Seeking 4-5 Urologists to form a hospital based employed physician practice. Initially there will be coverage issues, but the hospital is willing to provide locums coverage in the interim. BE or BC in specialty and will evaluate fellows graduating in 2009.

Clinic hours will be 8am-5pm M-F. On call would be after hours and on weekends. Rounding would be required in A.M. or P.M. as needed. Protocol for after hour admissions include, on-call physician, 24-hour cardiology backup with hospital and
24-hour OB backup with hospital. The clinic staff will include RN’s and MA’s plus administrative personnel.

Air ambulance is available onsite and the referral center is UNC. We have anesthesia support from physicians and crna’s. The pathology department is onsite and we have a surgical ICU.
