Job Description

This Southern Ohio community with three major corporations and a liberal arts college is seeking second Urologist to join their active Urology program. This area is well known for its access to river rafting and outdoor recreation, and three major corporations which are attracting many young professionals to the area. Hospital is 200 beds and is the regional referral center with active hospitalist program and 140 affiliated physicians. There is no Managed Care and earning levels are in the top ten percent nationwide. There are four medical oncologists and one Radiation Oncologist; ideally the new Radiologist will have interest in TomoTherapy and play a lead role in the Oncology program. There is a new outpatient surgery center in addition to the well staffed hospital ORs. A dedicated PA will work with this Urologist. Call is minimal from the ER and is 1:3. This is a hospital employment position offering 500K to start with generous singing bonus plus stipend for those in final year of training.
