Job Description

Looking for a general surgeon who wants to practice close to Miami and the Florida Keys. They are looking for a bread and butter surgeon but prefer someone who also has a sub specialty interest in either vascular, colon rectal, bariatrics, breast or oncology. You will be able to do a good amount if not all of your sub specialty. This is an opportunity to join another doctor in a practice. The hospital will set you up with a fantastic guarantee as well as pay relocation expenses. There are a total of 4 surgeons in the community and ER call will be 1:5. You will also be compensated for taking ER call. The hospital has four surgical suites that opened in September 2003 and has all physician-provided anesthesia services and a well-trained nursing staff. The service area consists of a population base of 60,000 residents plus the tourist/vacationer population and the winter population that is reported to DOUBLE the population.
