WJ51809H1 - Seeking to employ a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to establish a practice as an employed physician. The primary need is for general surgery. The opportunity exists to grow vascular surgery up to 50% of the practice. This position meets all of the criteria for a J-1 visa waiver. This physician will share call with one other General Surgeon in the market with a 1:3 call ratio.

The financial package provides a competitive compensation for services and bonus potential. Base salary ranges based on experience. A signing bonus or student loan repayment bonus is negotiable. Benefits include fifteen vacation days, five CME days/$3,500 allowance; paid malpractice; optional group health, dental, and vision insurance; and 401(k). The package also includes a relocation/moving allowance with a house-hunting trip. This city is conveniently located between larger cities in all directions. To the south, New Orleans is about three (3) hours away, and Baton Rouge is about two (2) hours.
