Inpatient Facility in Northern Coastal Florida needs a psychiatrist!
This facility is looking for an adult locums psychiatrist to start on July 1. They would also be interested in permanent candidate. The hospital is expanding and they need a psychiatrist to cover the additional patients. It is 100% adult inpatient with no call. They have 70 beds (40 at one location and 30 in the Crisis Stabilization Unit, which is at a close by location). There are 3 other psychiatrists on staff. You would round on 15-20 beds per day plus some consults. The patient’s average length of stay is 5-7 days. Notes are dictated and you do not have to do histories and physicals.
