Outpatient Psychiatrist Needed in Southern Missouri

A locum tenens psychiatrist is needed at this clinic starting now and ongoing until a perm is found. The doctor will primarily be working at the outpatient clinic, but if the other psychiatrist on staff leaves for vacation, the LT provider will cover for them. The provider will see 2-3 new patients and 12-20 re-checks per day. Re-checks will be 30 minutes for patients new to the doctor and 15 minutes for patients already seen. Notes will be dictated. Doctor will not be responsible for H&P’s in the OP clinic. The inpatient unit has 22 beds. Average length of stay is 4-5 days. Psychiatrist will do H&P’s on inpatient. There will be night and weekend call involved with this position.
