Adolescent Psychiatrist Needed in Montanta, Aug 10th-Nov 10th.

This facility, located in Montana, is in need of an adolescent psychiatrist starting in August and ongoing for at least 90 days until they find a permanent psychiatrist. Credentialing only takes a few days. The doctor will be covering the residential adolescent unit (Ages 13-18). There are 24 beds and there is a census of 16. The average length of stay is 3-6 months. There are 2 admissions/discharges a day. The locums will be the primary doc on the unit. Call is 1:5 for weekdays and weekends. There are four units. A child unit with 20 beds, an acute unit with 20 beds and 2 adolescent units. The docs from the other units will help out on call. The locums will only be responsible for covering the one adolescent unit. Credentialing will only take a few days. The need is for 90 days at least, while the facility starts a permanent search.
