Adolescent Psychiatrist Needed in Vermont

Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatrist needed for 4 month assignment for acute crisis stabilization and specialized assessment on two units—one dedicated to children ages 5 to 12 and another for adolescents ages 12 to 18. When clinically appropriate, some 17 and 18 year olds are eligible for treatment in our adult inpatient programs.

Although each program is distinct and offers age specific treatment, both programs are designed to provide short term, specialized inpatient hospital care for children or adolescents who have serious social, emotional, psychiatric or substance abuse disorders that have led to disruptive and maladaptive behaviors and relationships. Both programs also have a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment and utilize a trauma informed model of care which is short term, strength based, and skills oriented.
