Admissions Coverage
Job Description
This facility is located in central Georgia and they are seeking an adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatrist to start immediately. They average 6-8 admission per day and treat between 15-20 patients per 24 hours. The locums will be approving patient for clearance into the facility and treating them once they have been admitted. They will do the psychiatric assessments and the H&Ps. The notes are handwritten and the psychiatric assessment will be completed on a 5 page checkbox survey. This need is for admissions - the psychiatrist will evaluate all patients to see if they should be placed:
1. IP Treatment.
2. Temporary Observation - overnight.
3. OP Treatment.
4. Forensic IP/OP Units.
5. DLS - Developmental Disabilities Services
They need psychiatric coverage from:
Weekdays--
4 pm to Midnight,
Midnight to 8 am
8pm to 8am.
Weekends---
Fridays from Midnight to 8:00 AM
Saturdays from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
