Multi-Doc Need at VA Medical Center:
Dates of Need: ASAP pending credentialing. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months. Prefer longer. The initial assignment is for a year. With 4 One year options to extend.
Modalities:
Diagnostic Radiologist: CT, CTA, MRI/MRA, US, Nuc Med including cardiac studies, Bone densitometry, Plain Films, Baium or gastrografin GI studies.
Interventional Radiologist: Diagnostic and Interventional Angiography, Venography, IVC filters, Placement and Maintenance of Catheters such as Biliary Drains, Nephrostomy tubes, suprapubic catheters, Abscess drainage,etc. , Kyphoplasty, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Intrathecal Injections, Dialysis catheter placement, Dialysis graft revisions, embolizations, TIPS procedures
Schedule: ( Monday- Friday) 8am- 4:30pm- Diagnostic Radiology
IR: Onsite coverage Two days per week- 8am to 4:30 pm.
Call/Weekends: Yes - On call weekly. May be asked to work some weekend or night shifts.
# of Docs working with: Will be working with other physicians.
Other: Will use voice recognition system- Powerscribe. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. IR doc must be fellowship trained.
