Midwife Needed in Colorado!

Job description

Work Details:
• Support staff: very robust as this is a huge group. Nursing staff, OBGYN, primary care providers, etc.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 3-4 days per week. Will vary but schedules will be known a month in advance.
• Patients per day: 18-22
• Patient population/age: 13+, women, pregnant
• Department description: Women’s Health/OB
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: Main campus has approx. 525
• Special procedures: IUD insertion, Nexplanon, ultrasound, paracervical blocks would be a plus but not a must.
• Skills required: This is a very low-income population, very sick people, behavioral health comorbidities, high Spanish speaking population (huge plus if they’re bilingual). Need someone who is comfortable in this environment.
