Adult Neurologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Inpatient Clinic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Neurologist – Inpatient / Consultative (7 On / 7 Off)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist (MD/DO) for ongoing inpatient consultative coverage at a busy hospital setting in Oklahoma.

Position Highlights
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
- Tuesday 7:00 AM to Tuesday 7:00 AM
- Coverage Model: Two neurologists per shift
- One covering new consults and call
- One managing existing patients
- Daily Volume: Approximately 30–40 consults per day, shared between both neurologists
- Compensation: $3,000 per day

Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient neurology consults
- EEG interpretation
- Lumbar punctures
- Coverage for Stroke Center, Emergency Department, and Level II Trauma services
- Technology & Support
- Strong nursing support
- Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology available
- No APP coverage

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Neurology (required)
- Active Oklahoma medical license
- DEA and OBNDD (Oklahoma address required)
- Comfortable reading EEGs and performing lumbar punctures
