Job description

Oakland & Richmond Medical Centers (4+ PAs Needed)

Locations:
Oakland: 3600 Broadway
Richmond: 901 Nevin Blvd
(Sites are 11 miles apart; must be comfortable floating.)
Shifts: 7a–7p & 2p–2a (2 per site)
Patients: Rapid Care (low acuity)
~3 patients per hour (may vary with flow)
Procedures:
Laceration repair, abscess/paronychia I&D, FB removal (eye/ear/nose), finger dislocation reduction, tonopen eye pressure checks, splinting supervision, nasal packing
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS
All Ages


South Sacramento Medical Center (3 PAs Needed)

Shifts: 11a–11p
UC: ~22 patients per shift
ER: 20–30 patients (9-hour ER shift)
Procedures:
Same as Oakland/Richmond (lac repairs, abscess I&D, FB removal, reductions, tonopen, splinting, nasal packing)
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS
All Ages
Preference: ER experience, but UC PAs will be considered


Walnut Creek Medical Center (1 PA Needed)

Shift: 12p–12a
Census: Max 4/hour (usually lower)
Procedures:
All standard EM/UC PA procedures including lac repairs, abscess I&D, toenail removal, subungual hematoma evacuation, FB removal, hemorrhoid thrombosis management, epistaxis control, minor burns, local anesthesia and nerve blocks, simple reductions (nursemaid’s elbow, finger dislocations)
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Dublin Urgent Care

Shift: 10a–10p
Experience: EM preferred but not required
Procedures: Same scope as Walnut Creek (full UC/EM competency expectation)
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS
