Length of assignment: 26 weeks

Facility: Level II Trauma Center

Schedule:
Day Shift (Primary Coverage):
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Coverage includes: 1 Trauma, 7 OR, 1 CV, 1 EP Cath, 1 Board Runner

Afternoon Coverage:
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (M-F) – 1 Trauma, 3 OR

Night Coverage:
5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (M-F) – 1 Trauma, 1 Backup Call

Weekend Call:
Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
(1 Trauma, 1 Backup Call)

Clinicians who are available to assist with call coverage will be prioritized when possible.

Case Mix Includes: Cardiac, Thoracic, OB, Orthopedics, Neuro, Trauma, General Surgery, GI, Major Vascular, Outpatient Surgery, TEE, Podiatry, Plastics, OMFS, Endoscopy, ENT, Urology, and Spine.

Practice Model:
• CRNAs are medically supervised 100% of the time
• Anesthesiologists personally provide care approximately 20% of the time (primarily on call)

Requirements:
• Active Florida License & DEA required
• Active ACLS, PALS, AHA BLS, and TB test required
• 24 months of case logs required for credentialing
• Payer enrollment must be completed prior to credentialing
• Candidates must reside greater than 60 minutes from the facility (local candidates within 60 minutes are not eligible)

Orientation: 4th Friday of each month at 7:30 AM

Please note that temporary privileges are approved on a case-by-case basis. Shift confirmations will begin once the privileging process is underway and progressing appropriately.
