Hiring Full-Time Physicians at Newington, CT

Job description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible physician with experience in urgent care or primary care settings. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, efficient, and committed to providing exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Provide primary and urgent care services to patients of all ages
- Perform minor procedures, including suturing and splinting
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, labs, etc.)
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)

Requirements:

- MD/DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Active Connecticut Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in urgent care, primary care, or ER settings preferred
- Proficiency in minor procedures (e.g., suturing, abscess drainage)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
