Outpatient Primary Care Physician Needed – Facility-Based Assignment

Job description

Primary Care physician needed for full-time coverage Correctional facility
- Coverage dates: ASAP – 6-month initial contract, with the ability to extend
o Tentative credentialing timeframe: roughly 10 weeks
- Weekly schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, 7:30a-4p
- Average 12-14 patients per day, all adults
- Primary Care cases, sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage (hypertension/diabetes, etc.)
- Basic procedures required - light trauma cases such as suturing and casting
- Facility uses EMR
- Travel/lodging provided
