Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and 7P-7A)
• Handle annual patient volume of 32,000 with daily volumes of 90-100 patients
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients during a 12-hour shift
• Work alongside 2 mid-level providers in split coverage arrangement
• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to assignment
• Board certification required with 14-day credentialing timeframe
• EMR system: Meditech 6.1
• Open ICU available for patient care
• 24-hour support services include Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology
• L&D department available but newborn deliveries not received in ED
• Must hold active North Carolina medical license or IMLC
• Hospital-owned apartments provided for housing
