Unique Locums Opportunity: FDA Clinical Trial Supporting Pediatric Epilepsy Patients

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Physician for a unique FDA clinical trial opportunity focused on pediatric epilepsy patients. This is a highly specialized, low-volume assignment supporting administration of an investigational epilepsy medication in patients’ homes and select office settings across multiple states. All Travel paid inclusive of meals.
• FDA-regulated clinical trial assignment
• Pediatric-focused patient population (approximately 65% pediatric)
• Low patient volume: approximately 5–8 patients per month
• Travel-based role with all travel expenses covered, including meals
• Home health and office-based practice setting
• Quick credentialing timeline: approximately 2 weeks
• Opportunity to work on an innovative epilepsy treatment study
• Administer study medication on:
• Day 1, Day 56, Day 112
• Travel to patient homes or designated office locations for medication administration
• Ensure compliance with FDA trial protocols and documentation standards
• Coordinate with clinical trial and home health teams throughout the study
Requirements
• Board Certified in:Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics
• Holds at least 10 active state licenses NJ, MI, CT, PA, NY, NH, RI, VT, ID, NV, CO, MN, FL, GA, NC, SC, AL, TN, AR, LA, CA, WA, and MD
• IMLC providers highly preferred
• Comfortable with travel and home-based patient care
• Experience with pediatrics, epilepsy, neurology, clinical research, emergency medicine, or home health is a plusTrial Phase study
• Flexible scheduling based around patient dosing timelines
