Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Coverage Focus: Weekend coverage (primary need)
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday (primarily call-based)
Flexible options include 1:4 or 1:5 weekend rotation (or more frequent if desired)
Option for consecutive weekend blocks available
Optional clinic days available if provider is interested
Practice Setting: Hospital & Clinic
Patient Population: Adult and transitional care patients
EMR: Not specified

Clinical Responsibilities:

Weekend on-call coverage
Morning rounding on inpatient census
Pediatric admissions as needed
Emergency department support
Admissions during weekdays if assigned
Optional clinic coverage if desired (average 13–15 visits/day)

Hospital Details:

Average inpatient census: 7–9 medical and transitional care patients
Tele-hospitalist coverage for adult admissions Monday–Thursday (7 PM – 7 AM)
Weekend and holiday admissions covered by on-call provider
24/7 lab and imaging available
Support staff includes LPN/CMA, RN team support, and onsite interpreter services

Requirements:

State License: Active Minnesota license required
Board Certification: Required
Experience: Minimum 2+ years required
Record Requirement: Clean professional record (no malpractice or litigation history)
Response Time: Must be within 30 minutes of hospital when on call (unless already onsite in ED)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days (or a few days if already affiliated with CentraCare site)
