The facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, including advanced diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, cardiovascular care, cancer services, orthopedic surgery, and critical care, all supported by state-of-the-art clinical technology.

Physician Assistant - Critical Care
Job Details:
- Provide holistic, high-quality care to critically ill patients admitted to the critical care unit as a Physician Assistant
- Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic diseases in a critical care inpatient setting
- Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic tests for critically ill patients
- Communicate with patients and families regarding their conditions and care plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Critical Care Intensivists and a variety of consultants
- Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and other health team members
- Identify problems outside the scope of practice and refer appropriately to physicians
- Minimum 1+ years of advanced practice provider experience in a critical care setting required
- Neurocritical care experience highly preferred
- Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License
- Full-time, inpatient schedule
