# Neurosurgeon – Full-Time Opportunity

### Position Highlights
* Full-time Neurosurgeon opportunity
* Practice in a newly built, state-of-the-art hospital
* Level II Trauma Center
* 20 operating rooms

* Strong multidisciplinary neurological and surgical support
* 24/7 neurosurgical coverage
* **1:4 call rotation**, with PA support
* Trauma, spine, and general neurosurgical call responsibilities
* Subspecialty candidates considered; must be able to provide general and spine call coverage
* Multispecialty environment including neurosurgery, neurology, PM&R spine, and osteopathic medicine

### Role Responsibilities
* Perform a broad range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
* Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations and follow-up care
* Interpret advanced neuroimaging, including MRI, CT, and angiography
* Manage trauma and high-acuity neurosurgical cases
* Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventionalists, trauma teams, and other specialists
* Participate in trauma and spine call as part of a 1:4 rotation, with PA support
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered surgical care
* Participate in teaching and academic activities as appropriate

### Qualifications & Requirements
* **Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery – Required**
* Board-eligible physicians must obtain board certification within 5 years of becoming board eligible
* **Active Michigan medical license – Required at time of employment**
* **DEA registration – Required**
* **BLS certification – Required and must remain current**
* **Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report dated within 30 days – Required**
* Ability to participate in general, spine, and trauma neurosurgical call
* Subspecialty candidates must be able to provide general and spine coverage
