Washington state offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor experiences suited to varied interests. The state features hiking in Olympic National Park's Hoh Rainforest and Hurricane Ridge, spelunking in the Ape Caves near Mt. St. Helens, and kayaking or whale watching in the San Juan Islands. The North Cascades National Park Service Complex provides nearly 400 miles of trails, while coastal destinations and inland areas such as the Methow Valley and Lake Chelan add further variety, with extensive trail networks and water-based activities available throughout the region.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages at an on-site facility in Washington, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday during 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary and acute care conditions across the outpatient and clinic settings. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification is required for consideration.
