SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) for an ongoing Urgent Care locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This assignment is anticipated to begin November 2026 with the potential for ongoing coverage into 2027.

Schedule-
Approximately 20 shifts per month
Monday through Sunday
8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
No overtime required

Practice Details-
Coverage across three Urgent Care locations
Sites located within 30 minutes of each other
Independent practice environment
Epic EMR
Average 3-4 patients per hour
Treating patients ages 6 months and older

Required Experience-
Minimum 2 years of Urgent Care experience OR
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
Comfortable working independently without direct supervision

Procedures and Skills Required-
Suturing
Wound care
Incision and drainage (I&D)
Splinting and basic orthopedic procedures
X-ray interpretation
EKG evaluation
Blood draws
IV placement
Requirements
Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license
Board Certification
DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS
Current CV with all work history in MM/YYYY format
Any gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
Credentialing
Full and temporary privileges available
