Compensation

‣ Annual Salary: $234,104–$306,675.20
‣ Employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan

Job Responsibilities

‣ Provide professional physician services in a Quick Care/Urgent Care setting
‣ Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients
‣ Perform common urgent care procedures
‣ Develop appropriate patient care plans
‣ Assess patients' medical, social, and emotional needs
‣ Provide effective and efficient medical care
‣ Make appropriate patient referrals when necessary
‣ Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
‣ Follow infection control and patient safety practices
‣ Make effective clinical decisions during stressful and emergency circumstances
‣ Perform required administrative duties
‣ Maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
‣ Follow applicable federal, state, local, and accreditation laws, regulations, and standards
‣ Safely and effectively use medical equipment, supplies, and related technology

Qualifications

‣ Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
‣ Successful completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine training program accredited by ACGME or its equivalent
‣ Board Certification with maintenance of certification (MOC) or Board Eligibility — required
‣ Valid Nevada medical license — required
‣ Nevada State Pharmacy Board License to prescribe medications — required
‣ DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate — required
‣ BLS certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) — required
‣ Some positions may require 2 years of clinical practice experience
‣ Must be comfortable performing common urgent care procedures

‣ Full-Time
‣ Quick Care/Urgent Care coverage
‣ Position is at-will and serves at the pleasure of the CEO
‣ The position may close without notice once a sufficient number of qualified applications are received
