Facility:
This 282-bed acute care hospital serves as the region's primary pediatric provider and is the only facility within a 50-mile radius offering a Level III NICU, pediatric ER, PICU, and delivery services. The facility is recognized for excellence in patient safety and specialized care, featuring a well-established neonatology team and full subspecialty support along with a dedicated neonatal transport team.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Details:

• Per diem NNP role providing coverage in a Level III NICU (28 beds) with an average daily census of 19 and approximately 2,700 deliveries per year
• In-house NNP model providing 24/7 coverage with 24-hour in-house shifts
• Shared responsibilities including rounding, acute NICU care, delivery attendance, and procedures based on experience
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment with neonatologists who value NNP autonomy and clinical judgment
• Must be available for holiday coverage
• Active Florida state license required - IMLC not accepted due to credentialing timeline
• Current APRN national specialty certification required
• Clean background required with no background or malpractice history - no exceptions
• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing required
• Providers who have not been clinically active within the past year will not be accepted
