Opportunity:
Physician - Primary Care / Occupational Medicine
Job Details:
- 100% outpatient Occupational Medicine position with a predictable Monday through Friday schedule - no weekends, no call
- Join an established, high-performing Occupational Medicine team within one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in New England
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Preventive, Family, or Internal Medicine required; Occupational Medicine specialty preferred
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Manage Workers' Compensation and injury care, pre-employment and regulatory physicals, and drug-free workplace testing and compliance programs
- Provide OSHA and employer-based health services with integration of physical therapy and workplace rehabilitation
- Utilize EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation and AI integration, HIPAA-compliant communication tools, and efficient administrative workflows
- Optional academic involvement with faculty appointment available
- Collaborative, team-based care model with strong clinical and administrative support
- Professional development opportunities including the Provider Leadership Development Institute, Center for Education, Simulation & Innovation (CESI), robust CME, and mentorship programs
- Preferred qualifications include Medical Review Officer certification, FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner, and USCIS Civil Surgeon Designation
