DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology & Oncology Physician to join an established oncology program in Lima, Ohio. The physician will provide comprehensive care for hematologic disorders and solid-tumor malignancies within a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer-care team serving a growing Northwest Ohio patient population.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

‣ Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hematologic and oncologic conditions.
‣ Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, disease stage, and patient needs.
‣ Manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments.
‣ Review laboratory, pathology, and imaging results and modify treatment as appropriate.
‣ Provide cancer surveillance and follow-up.
‣ Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, primary care physicians, and specialists.
‣ Participate in multidisciplinary cancer conferences and care planning as appropriate.
‣ Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and supportive care.
‣ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

‣ MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
‣ Accredited Hematology & Oncology fellowship.
‣ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology.
‣ Ohio medical license or eligibility.
‣ DEA registration or eligibility.
‣ Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
‣ Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.
