A corrections facility is seeking family medicine locums coverage.

The facility is located less than an hour from Seattle, WA.

This position is Monday through Friday, working four 10-hour shifts (7 Sign up or sign in for contact information:30 p.m.), with no call responsibilities. The provider will see 815 adult patients per day in a corrections setting, managing injury, acute illness, follow-ups, physicals, chronic care, urgent/acute care, and minor procedures. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, hold a WA license, DEA, and BLS, and be comfortable treating an all-male patient population. Support staff includes MAs, MDs, and NPs, and credentialing takes 17 days. Experience with hormone therapy for transgender patients under DOC protocol is preferred but not required.
