The facility operates as an outpatient addiction medicine clinic delivering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to an adult patient population. The clinic maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support consistent and coordinated care delivery throughout the assignment period. On-site resources are in place to accommodate locum tenens coverage on a day shift basis.

The assignment is 1 hr from Newport, RI. This area offers clinicians access to a range of cultural, coastal, and outdoor activities suited to varied interests. The surrounding region features opportunities for outdoor recreation, regional dining, and year-round activities, providing a range of options during time away from the assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services to an adult patient population at an on-site clinic, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 8-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing MAT intakes, dose adjustments, and annual physicals. Prescriptive authority is required; no call coverage is required for this assignment.
