A corrections facility is seeking a family medicine nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
In Emporia, Virginia, explore the charming Main Street Historic District with unique shops and eateries or enjoy outdoor recreation at Veteran's Memorial Park for a delightful blend of small-town charm and natural beauty.
There will be a credentialing process of 10 days from application submission. Once cleared, candidates will undergo a drug test and online training. Schedule is 40 hours per week, possibly as 4/10-hour shifts, with no weekends or call duty. The case load averages 18-20 patients per day. While specialties like psych and primary care are likely available, their presence may vary. Staff includes RNs and LPNs.
