AI Software Developer / Integrator & Administrative Assistant Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our growing health care technology and medical practices acquisition team. This hybrid role focuses on evaluating and integrating emerging AI technologies into our existing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, with a focus on Advanced MD, Experty EMRs. The ideal candidate will help streamline and automate clinical and administrative workflows while supporting day-to-day administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
AI Integration & Development
• Evaluate and test new AI technologies for compatibility with existing health care systems
• Integrate AI tools into EHR infrastructure via APIs and system interfaces
• Develop and document working pathways, automation workflows, and process improvements
• Collaborate with the team to streamline clinical and operational processes using AI
Administrative Support
• Manage and maintain records within Advanced MD, Experty EMR and other EHR platforms
• Handle medical data entry, management, and governance tasks
• Ensure HIPAA compliance across all data handling and documentation activities
• Provide transportation and pick-up/drop-off support for administrative needs as required
• Support general office administrative functions as needed
• Learn and develop skills in the healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions process.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who meet one of the following educational and immigration status criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, currently on OPT (Optional Practical Training) or STEM OPT
• Master’s degree in computer science currently on OPT or STEM OPT
• Master’s degree in computer science student in the final semester of their program
Qualifications & Skills
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Experty EMR
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integration concepts
• Interest in and knowledge of emerging AI technologies and tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of or willingness to learn HIPAA compliance requirements
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to provide pick-up/drop-off support as needed
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Internship Details
Duration: 6 months-12 months.
Training Period: First month is unpaid training
Compensation: $10.00-15.00/ per hour (months 2–12) Based on experience.
Hours: 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM, Wed-Sun
