Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled Residential Counselor to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. In this role, you will provide sophisticated therapeutic interventions, lead group and individual counseling sessions, and help manage the therapeutic milieu of our high-end residential environment.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Therapy: Conduct comprehensive individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.).
Milieu Management: Monitor and maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic residential environment that aligns with our luxury care standards.
Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct clinical assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate, and rigorous clinical documentation (biopsychosocial assessments, progress notes, discharge plans) in compliance with Joint Commission and state licensing standards.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate, de-escalating support and crisis intervention as required within the residential setting.
Case Management: Coordinate care and transition planning to ensure clients have robust support networks upon discharge.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related human services field (Required).
Licensure: Active Ohio clinical license preferred (eg, LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, LICDC).
Experience: Prior experience in a residential treatment center or substance use disorder (SUD) facility is highly preferred.
Skills: * Deep understanding of the ASAM criteria and DSM-5 diagnoses.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with an affluent, diverse clientele.
Exceptional crisis management and de-escalation abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clinical charting.
