The facility supports a collaborative interventional cardiology program with an existing group of cardiologists and strong institutional support for locum providers.

Board Certified - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Interventional Cardiologist coverage with availability of 3-7 days per month
• Coverage dates include: Nov 23-26, Dec 1-4, and Dec 29-Jan 1
• Practice setting is Inpatient/EMTALA Call with no ambulatory or clinic work required
• Adult patient population
• Documentation system/EMR: Epic Cupid
• Required procedures include Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, and Coronary Angiograms
• Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital
• General Cardiology consults as needed
• Reading studies to include EKG, ECHOs, and Stress Tests (including nuclear stress)
• Active Kentucky license required; IMLC considered if provider has 3-7 days/month availability
• Board Certification required
• Active DEA required
• ACLS required
• Must list availability for specified coverage dates at time of name clear
