Cardiology Locum Tenens Opportunity in NY

Overview:
General cardiology coverage floating between Massena Hospital and Canton Potsdam Hospital, NY — solo practice, outpatient clinic, stress-test supervision, inpatient consults and call.

Schedule & Coverage:
Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 2–3 weeks/month coverage, 6–9 months. On-Call: 4:00 PM–8:00 AM (as needed to fill in holes). Title: MD.

Work Details:
Provider will be working in a solo practice; there is currently an APP in that location. Responsibilities: Outpatient clinic approx. 3 days per week (types of patients will be discussed during interview); Supervising Stress Tests approx. 1 day per week; Inpatient consults and stress lab; Read Nuclear portion of a stress test, as needed to support other providers who read NUCs (not a dealbreaker if someone cannot read NUCs); Hospital Consult service rotation (ad hoc). Will be floating between 2 facilities: Outpatient clinic and Supervision of Stress Tests — Massena Hospital, Massena NY; Hospital Consult Service — Canton Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam NY.

Requirements:
Type: General Cardiology, Physician. Board Certified in Cardiology. Board Certified to read Cardiac Imaging studies, to include Nuclear Stress tests — not a dealbreaker if they can't read NUCs, preferred but not required. No Malpractice Claims Preferred. Experience: More than 5 years experience preferred. License: NY License in Hand. EMR: Epic Experience Required. Certifications: AHA or RQI certs. Must be Board Certified.

Compensation & Travel:
OT & Holiday — 1.25x the regular rate.
