Assignment Highlights
Start Date: ASAP
Coverage Needed: Minimum of 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month
Flexible scheduling; shifts do not need to be consecutive
Local candidates only

Shift Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Friday: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Saturday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Sunday: 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Practice Details
Hospital-based cardiology practice
Adult patient population
Serve as the second-call cardiologist
Responsibilities include:
Cardiology consults upon request
Evaluation & Management (E&M) services
Interpretation of echocardiograms
Interpretation of nuclear cardiology studies performed in the hospital
Management of patients admitted to the cardiology service
Documentation of professional charges
No invasive procedures required
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active North Carolina medical license required
DEA required
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred
